Job summary

UPMC Somerset in Somerset, PA is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join a tight-knit team of three physicians and CRNAs. The position offers a generous package with 17 weeks off, J1/H1B visa sponsorship, and the ability to practice in a community hospital setting.

The schedule is 2 weeks on / 1 week off with a mix of bread-and-butter cases (no obstetrics, cardiac, head or trauma). Opportunities for teaching CRNA students and a caseload of about 1,200–1,500 annual cases per physician.

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE and have an MD or equivalent with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.
• J1 and H1B visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of three anesthesiologists and six CRNAs.
• Schedule is 2 weeks on / 1 week off; first week is clinical with call and the second week is clinical.
• Bread and butter cases with no obstetrics, cardiac, head or trauma.
• Teaching opportunities with CRNA students.
• Caseload of about 1,200–1,500 cases per year per physician.
