Job summary

Essential Anesthesia Management in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist for a 1099 role with 9 weeks off per year. Schedule is 7a-3p, Monday to Friday, with roughly 10 weekend call shifts annually.

Team consists of 3 Anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs; cases include general, ortho, GI, urology, ENT, spine, OB/GYN, neuro, and pain management. OB covered in-house by a dedicated CRNA team.

Qualifications

• Board eligibility or board certification is required.
• Proficiency in regional blocks and peripheral nerve blocks.

Responsibilities

• Cover OR anesthesia for general, orthopedic, GI, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology, OB/GYN, neuro and pain management cases.
• Coordinate weekend call coverage with MDs and CRNAs; manage 6 rooms daily with a team including CRNAs and MDs.
