Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Trained to provide pain relief and maintenance or restoration of a stable condition during and immediately following an operation or an obstetric or diagnostic procedure. Also provides medical management and consultation in pain management and critical care medicine. Diagnoses and treats acute, longstanding and cancer pain problems; diagnoses and treat patients with critical illnesses or severe injuries; performs direct resuscitation in the care of patients with cardiac or respiratory emergencies, including the need for artificial ventilation; and supervises post-anesthesia recovery.

As an Anesthesiologist of the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG), provides patient care and serves as a member of the academic medical enterprise. Spanning the clinical and research enterprise in support of patient care, research, and education and advances the Institutional mission of contributing to the prevention and cure of cancer. As such, the incumbent agrees to comply fully with MMG policies and procedures and the Hospital's Medical Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an OR Anesthesiologist to join as a Clinical Faculty Member in the Anesthesia & Critical Care Medicine Department

Our Center has 14 state of the art operating suites, new outpatient clinical units, and an active acute and interventional pain clinic.

Experience in the practice of Anesthesiology is required.

The candidates must have interest in patient care, teaching, and research.

The successful applicants must have an M.D. degree, be board certified in Anesthesiology, and be eligible for licensure in the State of Florida.

Prefer academic experience in a newly formed multidisciplinary environment.

Faculty of the Moffitt Cancer Center are eligible for academic appointments at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.

Academic rank is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Salary Range $518,044.80 - $684,931.52. Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role. Actual compensation may vary based on location and a variety of job- related factors, including experience, skills, education, and internal equity among Team Members in similar positions.
