Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist for our NOVA Service Area in McLean, VA. The role offers a competitive starting salary and a strong benefits package within a physician-led, high-quality care environment for Kaiser Permanente patients.

Eligible for a $150,000 forgivable loan or $150,000 in student loan repayment as a new hire incentive, with a 40–45 hour work week, call obligations, and minimal supervision for CRNA-provided care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology care in a high-volume clinical setting.
• Work on average 40–45 hours per week with potential for additional pay or time off.
• Manage call responsibilities approximately 1 weekday every 7 days and about one weekend per month.
• Receive guaranteed post-call day off.
• Operate with minimal CRNA supervision.

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients.

We invite applications for a full-time specialist in Anesthesiology at our NOVA Service Area.

Eligible for $150,000.00 forgivable loan OR $150,000.00 in student loan repayment as a new hire incentive!

Unlike other U.S. health systems, MAPMG is built and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. MAPMG researchers and staff support innovative ideas, ensuring quality care, educational programming, and advancing best practices through research.

What You Can Expect:

• Case Mix: Orthopedics, Gynecology, General Surgery, ENT, Bread & Butter Pediatrics, Spine, OB, endoscopy, EP. No open hearts or Neurosurgery
• To work on average 40-45 hours a week (annual salary based strictly on a 40-hour work week. Option to work more for extra pay or time off)
• Call approximately 1:7 weekdays & an average of 1 weekend call per month
• Guaranteed post-call day off
• Minimal CRNA supervision

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesia
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $450,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
