Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health in Malvern, PA is seeking an Anesthesia Veterinary Nurse to join our surgery team. You will work alongside board-certified veterinarians and experienced nurses, providing anesthesia and perioperative care for small animals in a 24/7 referral hospital.

Schedule includes 3/12s or 4/10s with no regular weekends, holiday shifts, and on-call options for anesthesia or treatment. Eligible nurses receive on-call stipends and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proficient in venipuncture and IVC placement.
• Thorough knowledge of veterinary medicine, sedatives and anesthetics.
• Utilize proper handling and restraint.
• Understanding of animal behavior; fear-free familiarity is a plus.
• Broad knowledge of small animal surgery, disease processes and medicine.
• Comfortable with dosages and calculations, including CRIs and IVF additives.
• At least 1 year of veterinary nursing experience, preferably in anesthesia or 3+ years of nursing.
• Flexible, adaptable, self-motivated, and a team player.
