Job summary

Rowan University’s Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine seeks Credentialed Veterinary Technicians to join our new teaching hospital in Glassboro, NJ. This role supports clinical services in a state-of-the-art facility, providing patient care and student education alongside board-certified specialists.

Ideal candidates hold an active veterinary technician license with VTS eligibility, and have experience in anesthesia, analgesia, and post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Active, current Veterinary Technician License (CVT, LVT, RVT)
• VTS, Anesthesia & Analgesia or VTS eligible
• Experience in anesthesia and surgical assisting and post-operative care
• Comfortable with anesthetic patient monitoring of ASA I-V
• Familiarity with the use of ventilators
• Prepare animals and instruments for surgery
• Able to obtain blood pressure, interpret basic ECG, SpO2, and ETCO2 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes
