Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and activities of the anesthesia technical team within a healthcare facility. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes

Essential Functions
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the anesthesia technical team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
  • Coordinate the procurement, inventory management, and maintenance of anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications.
  • Ensure availability, functionality, and proper functioning of anesthesia equipment, such as monitors, ventilators, and anesthesia machines.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols for anesthesia technicians, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, safety standards, and best practices.
Qualifications

Education: Associate's Degree Related Field of Study required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No. Licenses and Credentials: Experience: Anesthesia Technician Experience 3-5 years required and Supervisory Experience 2-3 years preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of anesthesia equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards governing anesthesia services.
