HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking an Anesthesia Technician PRN to support the anesthesia team and surgical staff. You will help prepare equipment, assist with transfers and positioning, and ensure a safe, comfortable patient experience during procedures.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification within 30 days of start, and some healthcare exposure. This PRN role offers flexibility and a meaningful role in patient care.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• Strongly prefer some healthcare work experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need
• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
• Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
• Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
• Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights

Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly. You will play a key role in keeping equipment ready, supporting patient care, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey.

Your responsibilities will include

What qualifications you will need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
