CORE JOB SUMMARY

The Anesthesia Technician assists the anesthesiologist by setting up equipment and preparing medications. Additionally, the incumbent orders, stocks, tests, and maintains anesthesia supplies, medications, and equipment. The Anesthesia Technician also washes and sterilizes reusable equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment to appropriate personnel.
