UCI Health, part of the University of California, Irvine, seeks an experienced team member to operate and maintain anesthesia equipment, stock carts, and support anesthesia teams across ORs. You will assist with inductions, maintain records, and help implement procedures, ensuring cost-effective use of supplies.

The role emphasizes patient care in an acute setting, strong English communication, and teamwork within the health system’s anesthesia and OR leadership.

Formación

• Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year or greater patient care experience in an acute care setting as a CNA, OR Tech, or LVN required.
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Your Role on the Team

Position Summary:

Operates and maintains electronic and mechanical anesthesia equipment, maintains and stocks anesthesia carts and pediatric cart with supplies, develops, implements, and evaluates new procedures and techniques, provides assistance to the anesthesiologist with induction and emergence from anesthesia, maintains records/files and keeps appropriate documentation on anesthesia equipment, assures appropriate evaluation of supplies/equipment by anesthesiologist, demonstrates cost-effectiveness in use/purchase of supplies/equipment, maintains communications with Anesthesia Chief and OR Manager and OR Director, performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent required
