Job summary

Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team and surgical staff, ensuring equipment is ready and procedures run safely. You will help keep the environment safe and comfortable throughout the surgical journey.

Your responsibilities include preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment, transporting carts, assisting with patient transfers, and maintaining sterile standards while protecting patient privacy and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need
• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
• Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
• Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
• Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights

Job Summary And Qualifications As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly.
