Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia department by maintaining clean, stocked supplies and coordinating repair and replacement of equipment. You will work with the surgical team to ensure safe patient care and orderly inventory of scrubs, linens, carts, and instruments.

This role emphasizes clarity of communication, confidentiality, adherence to Infection Control guidelines, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, patients and staff

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Maintains confidentiality with information about patient.
• Understands MHD guidelines, Infection Control guidelines, and MHD safety guidelines.
• Maintains good relations with physicians, nurses, patients, visitors and all hospital staff.

Job Description

The Anesthesia Technician will assist the anesthesia department by providing a clean, orderly, and well stocked anesthesia supply inventory. You will be responsible for maintaining clean and orderly supplies, e.g. scrubs, linens, carts, instruments. You will coordinate maintenance repair, and replacement of anesthesia supplies and equipment. Works with surgical team members to ensure orderly safe patient care.
