Job summary

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in Florida is seeking a full-time anesthesia technician to support anesthesiologists, prepare supplies, and maintain anesthesia equipment for surgery. You will assist with induction and regional blocks, under supervision of registered nurses, and help keep carts stocked and ready.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a current BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate.
Current BLS license approved by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Provides technical assistance and administrative coordination to ensure quality anesthesia services.
Assists anesthesiologists with induction of general anesthesia, spinal, epidural and regional blocks.
Prepares anesthesia supplies and equipment for surgery and maintains stock levels in anesthesia carts.
Cleans and maintains anesthesia equipment and supports nursing staff as required.
