Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Northwest in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking a part-time Anesthesia Technician to assist the Health Care Team in providing quality patient care. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, monitoring supplies, and ensuring safety standards. This position is part-time, with a schedule on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, starting at 07:45 AM. The pay range is $27.73 - $34.77 per hour, and Kaiser Permanente is committed to equity in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited anesthesia technology program.
• Basic Life Support certification required at hire.
• Two to three years of anesthesia tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia providers by preparing and maintaining equipment.
• Monitor and maintain anesthesia machines and related equipment.
• Attend department in-service programs and staff meetings.
• Support and participate in new employee orientation.

Skills

Knowledge of hospital and clinic settings

Ability to work in stressful situations

Good communication skills

Knowledge of sterile technique

Education

Graduate of an Accredited program in Anesthesia Technology

High school graduate
