Community Medical Centers is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support safe patient care by preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies. The role includes stocking carts and rooms, sterilizing gear, and verifying equipment for malfunctions.

Collaboration with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and department managers is essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with anesthesia program experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; anesthesia program preferred.
• 6 months of anesthesia tech experience or graduation from an anesthesia tech program required.
• BLS certification required; Certified anesthesia tech/technologist preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for safe patient use.
• Stock anesthesia carts/rooms and ensure availability of supplies.
• Clean and sterilize equipment after use.
• Check equipment for malfunctions and report issues.
• Communicate with anesthesiologists, CRNA and managers.

Responsibilities

The Anesthesia Technician is accountable for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies for safe patient use during anesthetic, including stocking anesthesia carts/rooms and equipment, cleans and sterilizes equipment, and checks equipment for malfunctions. Communicates with and assists Anesthesiologists, CRNA, and Managers.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• Graduation from an Anesthesia Technician training program preferred

Experience

• 6 months of Anesthesia Technician or similar experience OR graduation from an Anesthesia Technician training program required
• Familiarity with anesthesia equipment/supplies, various modalities, treatments, and medications required

Licenses and Certifications

• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Certified Anesthesia Technician or Anesthesia Technologist preferred
