Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to ensure anesthesia supplies and equipment are readily available for all procedures, while keeping equipment clean and functioning. You will assist anesthesia staff as needed and participate in ongoing education and process improvement.

In this role, you will support the Anesthesia Department's daily operations, maintain carts and inventory, and uphold compliance across the unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Clinical experience of at least one year is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Operating Rooms daily with anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Maintains specialty carts and inventory.
• Cleans used equipment carts and machines as necessary.
• Assists CRNA's and Anesthesiologists when needed.
• Implements and maintains Compliance in Anesthesia Department/unit/division.

Job Summary

Also ensures that equipment is cleaned and functioning properly. Is available to assist anesthesia personnel as needed. The Anesthesia Technician participates in process improvement, professional education, committees and meetings to maintain competence and advance the mission and values of Good Samaritan Medical Center. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
