Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a part-time Anesthesia Tech to work with our Anesthesia Department. The primary purpose is to provide anesthesia agents, equipment and supplies for all surgical cases.

Prospects must have knowledge of medical supplies, troubleshoot equipment problems, and transport supplies between locations. Must be able to care for patients from neonate to geriatric.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required.
• Junior College/Technical School preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hospital-medical terminology.
• Complete O.R. orientation.
• Three months of on the job experience is necessary to become proficient with the duties of this position.
• Must be able to comprehend quickly and follow directions and established procedures.
• Experience in effectively dealing with the public.
