The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking an Anesthesia Tech to support Anesthesia & Perioperative Services in Vermont. The role involves direct patient care, equipment maintenance, stocking of anesthesia carts, and assisting with supplies and basic lab tests.
Collaborating with anesthesia providers, pharmacy, operating room staff, labor and delivery, TSP, and pain clinic personnel, the AT contributes to a safe, clean, and efficient perioperative environment under clinical oversight
The Anesthesia Tech (AT) shall function within the policies and procedures of the organization, Anesthesia & Perioperative Services. This position encompasses both direct patient care as well as equipment maintenance, stocking of anesthesia carts, ordering supplies and running basic laboratory tests. The anesthesia tech shall work closely with anesthesia providers, pharmacy, operating room staff, labor and delivery, TSP, and pain clinic personnel. He/she helps to maintain a safe and clean work environment. The AT works under the direction of the Department of Perioperative Services with clinical oversight from the Department of Anesthesia.
