Position Summary

The Anesthesia Supply/Equipment Coordinator is responsible for meeting the needs of the anesthesia department and physicians, ensuring a smooth flow of care for all patients in the surgical services department and other departments as needed. This technical position reports on a daily basis to the daily charge RN and daily charge anesthesiologist, with overall responsibility of reporting to the Clinical Manager. The role requires organizational skills and attention to detail. Internal contacts are with health‑care staff throughout the system; external contacts may include outside health‑care organizations and vendors.

Requirements

• Post high school vocational or college coursework required
• Health Care Provider level CPR certification
• Current certification as an Anesthesia Technician/Technologist
• Minimum four (4) years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician/Technologist required, with progressive responsibility preferred
