Job summary

Accolades Physician Resources in East Texas is assisting a regional private practice to add an Anesthesiologist for hospital-based general anesthesia. The position features a 12 days on/9 days off schedule at a 167-bed Level 4 trauma center with a varied case mix including general surgery, ortho, Endo/GI, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology and OB/GYN.

The compensation includes a $600,000 annual pay for 35 weeks of work with malpractice coverage with tail; a Medical Insurance option is available

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• 1 year of anesthesia experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Texas medical license.
• Regional anesthesia proficiency preferred (training available).
• Comfortable overseeing CRNAs.

Responsibilities

• Administer general anesthesia for a broad case mix.
• Collaborate with a care team of 3 MDs and 8 CRNAs.
• Support a 12 days-on/9 days-off schedule at a 167-bed Level 4 trauma center.
• Provide anesthesia care for general, ortho, Endo/GI, urology, ENT, spine, ophthalmology & OB/GYN procedures.
