Job summary

WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital seeks an anesthesia technician to support licensed anesthesia providers across OR and recovery areas. Qualifications

• Formal anesthesia technology education or equivalent clinical exposure.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique and proper disposal of disposable items.
• Assist with setting up monitoring equipment and IV fluids for procedures.
• Ensure anesthesia carts and equipment are stocked and functioning before cases.
• Support anesthesia providers during intubations and emergency situations.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and spaces per regulatory standards.
