Job summary

Zaddy Solutions in Rutland, Vermont seeks a full-time Anesthesia Assistant to join a well-established Department of Anesthesiology. This day-shift role offers a competitive compensation package with signing bonus, loan assistance, and relocation support.

You will assist in administering anesthesia, perform pre-anesthesia assessments, prepare equipment, monitor intraoperative patients, and ensure safety and compliance across the perioperative period.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Assistant program.
• Eligible for or holding appropriate state licensure.
• National certification as an Anesthesia Assistant (if applicable).
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to function effectively within a team-based anesthesia care model.
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration and management of anesthesia care under supervision.
• Perform pre-anesthesia patient assessments as directed.
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Assist with induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and report clinical changes.
• Support post-anesthesia care as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, and nursing staff.
