Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration and management of anesthesia care.
• Perform pre-anesthesia patient assessments as directed.
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and report changes.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and report clinical changes promptly
• Support post‑anesthesia care as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, and nursing staff

Location: Rutland, Vermont

We are seeking a full-time Anesthesia Assistant to join a well-established Department of Anesthesiology.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration and management of anesthesia care under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist
• Perform pre‑anesthesia patient assessments as directed
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies
• Assist with induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and report clinical changes promptly
• Support post‑anesthesia care as appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, surgeons, and nursing staff
