GENERAL OVERVIEW: Assists anesthesia staff with the preparation and maintenance of equipment, supplies and medications for anesthetic procedures.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides anesthesia staff with adequate supply of equipment, supplies, and medications for anesthesia services areas. (30%)
• Ensures that all anesthetizing locations are in a state of readiness. (30%)
• Maintains proper standards of cleanliness and organization of the anesthesia workroom. (15%)
• Manages equipment, supplies, and medications according to established guidelines in order to maintain and provide safe, efficient, and cost effective programs. (15%)
• Participates in hospital, division, and department activities. (10%)
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Preferred Previous Anesthesia Aide experience
