Job summary

Meta is seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer - Android (Technical Leadership) to steer multi-year roadmaps and high-impact Android initiatives in San Francisco. You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor executives, and shape software architecture across mobile and web platforms, driving performance and user-centric improvements.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years of programming or 8+ years with a PhD, strong problem-solving with data, and a track record of shipping large-scale

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
12+ years of programming experience in a relevant language OR 8+ years experience with a PhD.
Experience driving large cross-functional/industry-wide engineering efforts.
Experience mentoring/influencing executive stakeholders across organizations.

Drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities that improve organizational efficiency.
Effectively communicate complex features and systems in detail.
Understand industry and company-wide trends to assess and develop new technologies.
Partner and collaborate with organization leaders to improve team performance.
Lead long term technical vision and roadmap for large cross-company efforts.
Identify new opportunities and influence staffing/prioritization of ideas.
Synthesize requirements and create an effective feature roadmap.
