Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Android system testing or QA at app/system/framework level.
• Experience writing test automation or scripts in Java or Python.
• Hands-on with Android debugging tools (ADB, logcat, MAT).
• Knowledge of Android layered architecture from Linux kernel to framework.
• Strong QA methodologies, defect tracking, and communication skills.
• Understanding of Android components and lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and contribute to test planning across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Perform end-to-end testing on real Android devices.
• Design and execute test cases for Android system features, APIs, services.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for Android services and apps.
• Enhance Android test automation frameworks.
• Analyze logs and runtime behavior to identify crashes and stability issues.
• Document issues clearly and collaborate with developers to drive resolution.
• Own quality for assigned features during release cycles.
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and PMs to deliver high-quality releases.
