Qualifications

• Experience releasing consumer software and mobile apps.
• Cross-functional leadership across engineering, hardware, QA, product, compliance, and OEM partners.
• Hands-on release calendars, go/no-go reviews, phased production rollouts.
• Knowledge of Android build process, artifacts, versioning and CI/CD.
• Real-time dashboards and crash reporting tools (Crashlytics, Play Console, etc.).
• Data-driven decisions to approve, delay, or halt releases.
• Experience with automotive/AAOS/OEM release cycles.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and modern release automation tools.
• End-to-end release management from branch cut to deployment and post-launch monitoring.
• Coordinate daily with Engineering, QA, Product, Hardware, Compliance, and OEM partners.
• Maintain release calendars across environments; manage risk and conflicts.
• Chair Go/No-Go reviews; ensure legal/compliance before production.
• Staged rollouts and monitoring of crashes, stability, performance.
• Identify blockers and secure tools/headcount.
• Build real-time dashboards and post-release retrospectives.
• Basic Android build oversight: APK/AAB generation, versioning.

• Go/No-Go Leadership: Chair production readiness reviews and ensure compliance before production pushes.
• Staged Rollouts & Stability Monitoring: Manage phased rollouts and monitor crash rates and performance.
• Risk Resolution & Resource Planning: Identify blockers and secure necessary tools/headcount.
• Metrics & Process Optimization: Build dashboards and drive post-release retrospectives.
• Basic Android Build Oversight: Validate APK/AAB packages and release configurations.

• Experience: Release Engineering and program management experience delivering consumer-facing software and mobile applications
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to align diverse engineering, hardware, QA, product, compliance, and external OEM teams.
• End-to-End Release Expertise: Hands-on experience managing release calendars, leading Go/No-Go reviews, and executing phased production rollouts.
• Android Ecosystem Knowledge: Working knowledge of the Android build process (e.g., build artifacts, semantic versioning, CI/CD pipelines).
• Monitoring & Analytics: Proficiency with real-time dashboards and crash reporting tools (e.g., Crashlytics, Play Console, or custom telemetry platforms).
• Communication & Decision-Making: Strong leadership presence with the data-driven confidence to approve, delay, or halt releases to protect product quality.
• Experience managing software/hardware release cycles in the automotive, Android Automotive OS (AAOS), or OEM ecosystem.
• Deep familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and modern CI/CD release automation tools.
