Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a QA Tester to ensure the quality of Android mobile experiences across smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices. You will work with Product Managers, Engineers, and Automation teams to validate features and bug fixes before production.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing on real devices, meticulous defect reproduction, and collaboration to optimize release quality for a large-scale consumer platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA or software testing experience.
• Hands-on testing on real Android devices across manufacturers and OS versions.
• Experience with wearable Android devices (Wear OS) or similar hardware.
• Solid understanding of manual testing, regression, smoke, and functional testing.
• Experience writing detailed bug reports and using defect tools like Jira.
• Familiarity with Android debugging tools (ADB, Logcat).
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test plans across Android phones, tablets, and wearables.
• Validate feature releases, updates, and regression tests on real hardware.
• Identify, document, and reproduce defects; work with Engineering to drive fixes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to ensure test coverage.
• Participate in release readiness and continually improve testing processes.
