Job summary

Carv is seeking an Android engineer to build and ship features for our real-time coaching app. You’ll work from UI to data layer, collaborating with designers and product managers to craft high-performance, intuitive interfaces.

You’ll contribute to AI-powered coaching features that use sensor data, learn from architectural decisions with senior engineers, and stay current with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

Qualifications

• Shipping production Android apps with demonstrable examples.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Ability to work in a small, fast-moving team.
• Comfortable contributing to architecture and code quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across the Android app, from UI to data layer.
• Work closely with designers and product managers to create intuitive, high-performance interfaces.
• Contribute to real-time coaching features powered by AI and sensor data, and test these on the ski slope.
• Learn from and contribute to architectural decisions alongside senior engineers.
• Keep up with Android advancements and help adopt new best practices.
