Formación

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer for an exciting opportunity with a client in the fintech industry, working on innovative solutions to enhance customer experiences and streamline financial services. As a Senior Android Engineer, you will develop innovative Android applications and play a key role in mobile architecture and design, delivering outstanding user experiences. • Architect, design, build, and deliver world-class Android applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other colleagues to identify meaningful challenges and deliver business value.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following Android development best practices.
• Learn, grow, and mentor other engineers through code reviews and pair programming to accelerate their technical mastery.
• Challenge existing team processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to and promote engineering standards and best practices, making a positive impact across the team.
• Ensure application performance, stability, security, and reliability across supported Android devices and operating system versions.

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Experience architecting, designing, building, and delivering high-quality Android applications.
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and the Android application development ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience writing idiomatic, readable, and maintainable code.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns, design principles, and SOLID principles.
• Experience customizing Android UI components, navigation, transitions, lists, and complex layouts.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing high-quality, reliable, and crash-free Android applications.
• Practical experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with asynchronous operations.
• Experience with dependency injection, modularization, and building maintainable application architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience working with agile methodologies and collaborative software development practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
