Envision Technology Solutions is seeking a local Android Developer for contract work in Alpharetta. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance Android apps using Kotlin and Java, collaborating with product and design teams.

You will integrate RESTful APIs, ensure code quality with testing, and apply MVVM or Clean Architecture patterns while targeting a wide range of devices and OS versions. Local candidates only.

Formación

• 2–5+ years of Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android Studio, Android SDK, Jetpack components, and UI layouts (Jetpack Compose and XML).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and offline storage (SQLite, Room).
• Understanding of MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture and Git workflows.

Job Title: Android Developer (Need Local Only )

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code for Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaboration: Partner with product and design teams to conceptualize, prioritize, and translate wireframes and UI designs into functional, native Android apps.
• API Integration: Connect applications with backend services and RESTful APIs / GraphQL.
• Code Quality & Testing: Identify and fix bottlenecks, debug code, and conduct unit/UI testing to maximize application performance, robustness, and edge-case handling.
• Lifecycle Management: Ensure applications meet strict quality, security, and architectural standards across a wide variety of Android devices and OS versions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging Android development trends, architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture), and new platform features.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: [2–5+] years of professional hands-on experience in Android software development.
• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Kotlin and proficiency in Java.
• Android SDK & Tools: Deep working knowledge of Android Studio, Android SDK, Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation), and UI layout design (Jetpack Compose and/or XML).
• Networking & Storage: Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON, and handling offline caching/local storage (SQLite, Room).
• Architecture: Solid understanding of software design patterns and architectural approaches (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture).
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and strong debugging skills.
