Role Description

We are seeking an Android Developer for a 3-month contract to help complete JENTRI, our geolocation and navigation mobile app that integrates the core functionality of our SaaS platform. The app is partially built—your role will focus on UI refinement, security hardening, IoT device integration, and expanding geospatial capabilities. This is a hybrid role based in Tulsa, OK, with flexibility for some remote work.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize Android app features for geolocation, navigation, and real-time data visualization.
Implement secure data handling, encryption, and authentication for sensitive location and IoT data.
Enhance the UI/UX for clarity, speed, and field usability.
Integrate the app with CubeNexus’s SaaS platform APIs and backend services.
Develop and test IoT device connectivity and data streaming features.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance or stability issues.
Collaborate with backend, data, and geospatial engineering teams.

Qualifications:

3+ years professional Android development experience (Kotlin or Java).
Experience with secure mobile app development and data encryption.
Familiarity with IoT device integration, Bluetooth, or sensor data ingestion.
API integration and offline data handling experience.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience with GIS frameworks, AR, or spatial data visualization a plus.

Type: Contract (3 months, with potential extension).
Location: Tulsa, OK (Hybrid – 2+ days/week onsite preferred).
