The role involves developing applications for sellers on mobile devices within the Amazon Marketplace team. Ideal candidates will have over 8 years of software development experience, proficiency in Java, and experience with iOS and Android SDK. Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related field
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java or other high level programming languages
• 3+ years of experience in iOS frameworks and/or Android SDK.
• Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, object-oriented design, algorithm design and problem solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated technical leadership
• Works well in a fast-moving team environment and is able to effectively drive cross-team solutions having complex dependencies and requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 commercial application in market.
• Experience building complex, scalable, and high-performance systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
• Experience architecting mobile experiences for volatile bandwidth conditions.
• A real desire to build great experiences for mobile devices worldwide
