Job Summary

As an Android Developer, you will design, code, debug, and maintain native Android applications using Java, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose. You will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical excellence while improving performance and enhancing legacy code.

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements.
• Design new software and customize existing applications.
• Assist with the software update process and roll‑outs of releases.
• Monitor and evaluate competitive products.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices and procedures.
• Mentor junior-level Software Development Engineers.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and adhere to project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3‑5 years of experience as an Android Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Android Studio, and Git.
• Experience with streaming video apps (Hulu, Max, Peacock) is ideal.
• Knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and modern Android architecture.
• Ability to plan, design, code, debug, and integrate new applications.
• Experience mentoring peers and communicating technical concepts.
