Job summary

Progress Rail in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an hourly Production - Inbound Receiving Clerk to support material handling, verify deliveries, and resolve discrepancies.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, accurate documentation, and collaboration with assembly and inbound teams. It is a first-shift, shop-floor position offering comprehensive benefits and on-site work in Winston-Salem.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of inbound receiving processes and material handling.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships.
• Attention to detail with time and task management.
• Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
• LN experience a significant plus.
• iPrep experience a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Andon/iPrep system and resolve all requests.
• Monitor all MMLs in iPrep and work to resolve.
• Communicate with Assembly to achieve production goals.
• Verify material delivered both physically and systematically.
• Replace material deemed to have quality defects.
• Verify missing material notifications and resolve.
• Inform Inbound Analyst of discrepancies found.
• Perform 5s duties daily.
• Assist in other areas and duties as assigned by supervision.
• Respond to issues at lineside stations to resolve promptly.
• Deliver kitted material lineside.
