Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum two to five years' experience in news reporting or anchoring (market size dependent).
• Superior on-air presence and strong news judgment across local and national events.
• Ability to guide, direct and motivate others in a newsroom.
• Proficiency with office equipment and computer systems.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to listen actively and collaborate with a team.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Flexibility to work any shift.

• Experience guiding, directing and motivating others.


• Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills.


• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
