Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, DPM, Ed.D or similar in Anatomy or closely related discipline.
• MS degree may be considered based on teaching experience.
• At least two years of experience teaching human gross anatomy; graduate level experience preferred.
• At least two years of experience teaching human gross anatomy dissection; graduate level experience preferred.
• Qualified to teach Neuroanatomy or Physiology at the graduate level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to student learning, professional growth, and advancement.
• Demonstrate academic competence in gross anatomy and align curricula with other faculty and departments.
• Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice; adapt content for different cohorts.
• Collaborate with stakeholder groups within the University to increase student performance.
• Provide lecture-based and laboratory-based instruction in human anatomy, physiology and/or neuroscience.
• Teach in person and online lectures and laboratories.
• Participate in departmental meetings and university seminars and trainings.
• Engage in scholarship necessary for promotion.

Education

Doctoral degree in Anatomy or related discipline

Master of Science degree considered based on teaching experience
