Seattle Colleges is seeking an Anatomy & Physiology Tutor for the Learning Support Network. The role involves one-on-one and group tutoring on campus or online, with opportunities to mentor new tutors and participate in outreach activities.

The position is part-time (up to 16 hours per week), Monday through Thursday, mainly in person with some remote work, and requires solid knowledge of anatomy and physiology and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Completed college coursework in anatomy/physiology with GPA evidence.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with diverse learners.
• Reliable computer and internet access for remote/onsite tutoring.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one tutoring to assist with coursework and study skills.
• Group tutoring sessions in specific anatomy/physiology topics.
• Embedded tutoring in assigned classes and communication with faculty.
• Outreach and marketing to promote tutoring services and resources.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings for professional development.
• Mentor new tutors and help integrate best practices.
• Assist students with Canvas and Microsoft Word; utilize Zoom and Teams during shifts.
• Perform other duties as required.
