Job summary

Midwestern University US is hiring a full-time, non-tenure-track Instructor of Anatomy in Downers Grove to lead laboratory instruction across gross anatomy, histology and neuroscience. The role emphasizes dissection-based labs and collaboration with course directors to assess students.

Candidates with experience in e-learning, digital content and emerging technologies, including AI in education, will be favored.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Anatomical Sciences or closely related field required/preferred.
• Master’s degree with 1–3 years of teaching experience required.
• Experience teaching human gross anatomy using dissection-based methods required.
• Experience with e-learning, digital content, and AI in education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Anatomy Laboratory curriculum with Course Directors and staff.
• Teach laboratory portions of gross anatomy, histology, and neuroscience courses.
• Assist in educational assessment and exam construction.
• Prepare prosected specimens as needed.

Education

Ph.D. in Anatomical Sciences or closely related field

Master’s degree in Anatomical Sciences/Biomedical Sciences or related
