Job summary

SunSource is seeking a highly talented Product Owner of Data and Analytics to lead enterprise data strategy, governance, and analytics delivery. You will partner with executive leadership to drive growth, margin, and operational excellence through insights and high-quality analytics solutions.

The role leads the BI Analysts, collaborates with Data Engineering, and shapes multi-year roadmaps and KPI definitions to enable data-driven decision making across SunSource.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data engineering.
• 2+ years leading analytics teams.
• Expert experience with Power BI including DAX, semantic models, and visualization.
• Preferred experience with Databricks, SQL, and Lakehouse ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience serving as product owner for analytics or data-driven initiatives.
• Strong Agile/Scrum leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Experience in Distribution or Manufacturing preferred.
• After hours availability and travel are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, development, governance, and delivery of enterprise data and analytics.
• Own analytics ecosystem including Power BI, Databricks, data modeling, and data governance.
• Partner with FP&A, Strategy and Business Owners to align analytics with growth goals.
• Define KPIs, dashboards, and insights to support enterprise objectives.
• Lead a BI Analyst team and coordinate with Data Engineering for delivery.
• Drive Agile delivery, backlog prioritization, and continuous improvement.
• Serve on IT Leadership Team to align analytics with IT strategy and budget.
