Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. is seeking an Analytics Platform Engineer to help design, build, and operate the Data Forge cloud data platform.

You will develop scalable data and analytics solutions within AWS, automate platform capabilities, and improve reliability and usability for multiple product teams. The role focuses on Python frameworks, data pipelines, CI/CD, IaC, and observability, with a strong emphasis on developer experience and AI-enabled enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Analytics, or related field.
• 2-5 years of software/data/platform engineering experience.
• Strong Python production-grade development and automation.
• Hands-on AWS experience with S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, ECS, Step Functions, CloudWatch, IAM.
• Strong SQL and experience with large datasets.
• Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Agile development teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain platform services for data ingestion, transformation, analytics, and reporting.

The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $138,000 - $189,750.
