Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a data engineer on the Strategic Intelligence and Automation team to build ETL workflows using Dataiku and Python, integrate data from multiple sources, and document requirements with cross-functional teams. You will analyze datasets, write queries, and help maintain knowledge sharing across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in ETL/data engineering, strong SQL, and experience with Dataiku or Alteryx.

Qualifications

• Intermediate understanding of SQL language.
• 2+ years experience in ETL work with Dataiku or Alteryx.
• 2+ years’ experience with Python.
• 2+ years’ experience in data engineering.
• Awareness of problem solving and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Build ETL workflows using Dataiku and Python to receive, manipulate and populate data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, clinical support, and designers, to gather and document product requirements
• Support direct team members in testing and troubleshooting and documenting work
• Aid in retaining our client base by researching and resolving client issues by writing queries and analyzing data
• Answer internal questions by investigating the data sets
• Contributes to knowledge management initiatives to ensure that knowledge and best practices are understood and shared across the organization
• Actively contributes to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative projects, including sharing ideas, providing feedback, and contributing to the overall goals and objectives of the team
• Assists in maintaining our integrated high-performance culture
