Responsibilities

• Defines and implements standards for data strategy, code quality, and lifecycle management while providing technical guidance and mentorship on automation, data engineering, and best practices.
• Designs, builds and maintains large and complex information sets optimized for performance and reliability; Integrates and extracts relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data to enable analytical solutions.
• Develops reusable frameworks, APIs, and tools that empower analysts and data scientists to work efficiently.
• Seeks out and identifies ad hoc, manual or fragmented processes and transforms them into automated, reliable, deployable solutions using modern practices.
• Partners with key stakeholders to understand business needs, translates business strategy and goals into manageable problems, and formulates, communicates, and gains buy in for solutions with well defined, measurable outcomes.
• Produces ad hoc reporting and analytics to support requests from the Bank's various lines of business.
