Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking an Analytics Engineer in Overland Park, KS to design and maintain data pipelines and BI dashboards. You will bridge raw data assets with business decisions, delivering reliable datasets and insights to stakeholders.

The role requires 2–5 years of analytics experience, strong SQL, and proficiency with dbt, Snowflake, and Tableau. This position emphasizes collaboration and clear communication within the Technology team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, CS, IS, or related field.
• 2–5 years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related analytics role.
• Experience leading projects in data/analytics context is a plus.
• Hands-on with data ingestion, dbt for modeling, and Tableau visualization.
• Strong SQL skills; Snowflake as primary data warehouse.
• Familiar with Git and standard development tooling.
• Proficiency with Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication; translate technical concepts for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support data ingestion and preparation for the data warehouse.
• Design, build, and maintain data transformations with dbt.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations in Tableau for self-service reporting.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis for time-sensitive questions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Follow change management for pipelines and dashboards as defined by senior engineers.
• Ensure data quality, documentation, testing, and validation.
