Aitopics seeks a senior-level data engineer in Houston to design and maintain enterprise data warehouse structures, semantic models, and robust data pipelines. You will develop SQL queries, data transformations, and implement data quality checks in a cloud-centric environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct code reviews and recommend improvements
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Design and maintain enterprise data warehouse structures
• Design and maintain semantic models
• Develop SQL queries stored procedures and transformations
• Develop and automate data quality checks validation and monitoring
• Develop and maintain certified datasets
• Develop and support Azure Data Factory data pipelines
• Establish SQL and data modeling and pipeline standards
• Establish data definitions relationships calculations and business logic
• Implement error handling logging alerting and recovery
• Monitor data pipelines troubleshoot and resolve failures
• Optimize SQL queries data models and pipelines for performance
• Perform platform performance tuning for reliability and efficiency
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models
