Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking an analytics engineer in Houston, Texas. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions, supporting project execution and analytics data lake environments.

Your role will involve managing data transformation and exchange, collaborating with teams to define data requirements, and supporting advanced analytics use cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, data engineering, and cloud-based data platforms.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience, or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with low-code AI tools in production environments is desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Manage data ingestion and exchange across tools.
• Collaborate with project teams to define data requirements.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes and optimize SQL data models.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across sources.
• Support reporting solutions by delivering structured datasets.
• Enable data-driven solutions including automation and AI/ML use cases.

Skills

Strong programming experience (Python, Scala, or equivalent)

Experience with data pipelines and workflows

Strong SQL and data modeling

Experience integrating data using APIs

Familiarity with Azure Databricks and Delta Lake

Experience delivering datasets for BI tools

Familiarity with data governance

Education
