Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
• Proficiency in querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to derive meaningful insights
• Strong performance in SQL, R, Python
• Ability to create dynamic, visually engaging dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
• High BI proficiency and ability to take a business case from inception to execution
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Proven track record of championing initiatives with multiple stakeholders

Job Summary

The Consultant’s primary responsibility is to leverage strong healthcare industry knowledge, logic and critical thinking to support business stakeholders. This role will be accountable for the requirements gathering based on business need or data availability, research, analytical support, technical acumen, and consultancy of internal/external customers, as well as advisory service for internal/external resources.

Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate solid understanding and application of analytical concepts and tools by leveraging technical skills and knowledge of data and analytic solutions to support and enhance engagements with various internal/external customers.
• Handle moderately complex analytical problems with guidance using data from internal and/or external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
• Execute tasks following established guidelines and contributes to team objectives while asserting a strong understanding of design and maintaining data layers, following design standards, and documenting organizational use cases.
• Collaborate with team members and internal/external stakeholders to gather and analyze data and deliver actionable insights.
• Provide knowledge in healthcare consulting with an emphasis on data visualization, data warehousing, industry-specific data and related datasets.

Required Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field OR Master’s degree in related field OR 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
• Understanding, and being highly proficient at querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources to get meaningful insights.
• Performance excellence in computer languages, such as SQL, R, Python.
• Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging dashboard leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to customer or partner execution.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to bring the initiative to life.

Preferred Job Qualifications

• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Experience of Healthcare industry - payor, provider, pharmacy, public health, epidemiology, etc.
• Experience with version control/collaborative tools, such as GitHub Experience with automation tools, such as Alteryx.
• Ability to switch between multiple tasks and priorities.

Base Pay Range $61,500.00 - $136,100.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
