Job summary
PHNX Materials in San Leandro, California, is looking for an experienced analytical chemist to lead the testing and quality assurance efforts. This hands-on role involves developing methods, operating instrumentation, and ensuring rigorous testing standards are met for our products.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a related field and experience in running characterization labs. The successful applicant will take charge of the analytical infrastructure and work closely with R&D to drive product development from pilot to commercial phases.
Qualifications
- PhD in analytical chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related field with lab leadership experience.
- Experience running multi-instrument characterization labs.
- Strong hands-on skills in routine and high-volume testing.
Responsibilities
- Execute routine and high-volume testing for R&D campaigns.
- Develop and validate methods across multiple analytical techniques.
- Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation day-to-day.
