IEM is seeking an Analytics Business Partner embedded with the Manufacturing and Fabrication team in San Antonio, TX. You will own data storytelling, KPI definitions, and the analytics roadmap, collaborating directly with leaders to influence decisions with a single trusted data set.
You'll build with AI, partner with the Data Platform team, and ensure your area’s metrics are defined, governed, and actionable for leadership insights and ongoing process improvements.
At IEM, we're not just building innovative electrical distribution systems, we're shaping the future. IEM is dedicated to delivering world-class solutions for complex power needs. After 75 years, we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible. Whether you're an experienced professional or just starting out, you'll have the opportunity to contribute, grow, and make a lasting impact on industries that power the world's most dynamic markets.
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Reports To: Director, Business Analytics
Salary Range: $120,000 - $155,000
This is a partnership role first, and you also own the build. As an Analytics Business Partner, you'll be embedded with IEM's Manufacturing and Fabrication team and become the go-to person for data. Leaders will call you when a number moves, when a decision needs evidence, or when they aren't sure which question to ask. You'll be part of the Business Analytics team within IEM's Data and Analytics team, with the Data Platform team behind you for the data models and pipelines your work runs on. You'll build with AI, not by hand, so your time goes into understanding the business, not into dashboard mechanics. Your job is to understand your area well enough to have an informed opinion about what the data says, and to help leadership act on it. You'll have direct access to leadership and real influence over how a $1B+ manufacturer runs.
We are hiring for the top of the field, not the average candidate. You have worked inside or alongside a business team long enough to know how it runs, and leaders in that team have trusted you with their hardest questions. You are sharp with numbers, curious about why things happen, and direct enough to say so when the data contradicts the room. You already use AI tools as a normal part of how you work, and you can show what that changed. In this role, success looks like this: leaders in your area bring you in before decisions are made, you can point to decisions that came from your analysis, and your area runs on one trusted set of metrics.
