Job summary

Brooksource is seeking an Analytics BI Engineer in Columbus to help modernize the data and analytics environment, building dashboards with Snowflake and Tableau, and writing SQL.

You will migrate reports, partner with data engineers, automate reporting with Python, train users, and participate in Agile ceremonies in a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in analytics/computer science/statistics.
• Strong foundation in SQL with joins, aggregations and data transformations.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.
• Exposure to Python, dbt or Airflow is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design Tableau dashboards translating business requirements into insights.
• Support reporting migration from legacy systems to Snowflake/Tableau.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries for reporting and data validation.
• Collaborate with Data/Analytics Engineers on data models for reporting.
• Assist with report automation and recurring processes using Python.
• Train end users on new reports, dashboards, and analytics capabilities.
• Troubleshoot reporting, data quality, and performance issues in Agile sprints.

In this role, you'll work with modern tools like Snowflake and Tableau to develop reporting solutions that support business decision-making across the organization. What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop Tableau dashboards that turn business requirements into actionable insights.
• Support the migration of reports from a legacy reporting platform into a Snowflake/Tableau environment.
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to support reporting and data validation efforts. [
• Partner with Data and Analytics Engineers to ensure reporting solutions are built on reliable, scalable data models.
• Assist with report automation and recurring reporting processes using Python and related tools.
• Train and support end users on new reports, dashboards, and analytics capabilities.

What You Bring:
